Schönberg's ‘Gurre-Lieder’ at the Musikverein, his personal inaugural programme at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the opening concert at the Theater an der Wien and the ‘kick-off’ to the Strauss year: Petr Popelka's first season as Chief Conductor of the Wiener Symphoniker has already brought top-class concerts. The next season milestones will soon follow with the Asian tour and our new spring festival in Trieste.
