Celebrate the 125th anniversary with the Wiener Symphoniker and experience four festive concerts with a very special programme and line-up! Petr Popelka gives his inaugural concert as the new chief conductor and brings along his favourite composer Béla Bartok as well as Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto - interpreted by Anna Vinnitskaya.
For his return to the Wiener Symphoniker, former chief conductor Philippe Jordan has brought along Mahler's 8th Symphony with an exquisite ensemble of singers, including Regula Mühlemann, Elisabeth Teige, Christopher Maltman and Tanja Baumgartner. Cellist Sol Gabetta will immerse herself in the world of Camille Saint-Saëns together with conductor Lorenzo Viotti, and early music expert Václav Luks will celebrate what is probably the biggest festival of the year when he conducts Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio with the Wiener Singakademie.
