Just in time for the start of the holidays, the Wiener Symphoniker invite the whole family to the Prater Picnic in front of the spectacular backdrop of the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel. Everyone is invited to pack their picnic basket, spread out their blanket and enjoy musical highlights from operetta to musical to Viennese song and pop with free admission.

Under the musical direction of Dirk Kaftan, the Wiener Symphoniker, soprano Vera-Lotte Boecker and baritone Rafael Fingerlos trace the Vienna World's Fair of 1873. They will also be joined by a figurehead of contemporary Vienna: singer-songwriter Voodoo Jürgens!
