Yesterday, the premiere of Christoph Waltz's production of Beethoven's "Fidelio" would have taken place at the Theater an der Wien. Due to the corona virus, this, like so many other cultural and social events, had to be regrettably cancelled. We are very happy that it was possible to record the production for TV and streaming platforms during the rehearsals last week.The recording will be broacast on ORF 2 this Friday (20.3. at 10:30pm).

On the same days already at 7 pm the recording can be seen online on the classical music platform www.myfidelio.at for the first time.

Outside of Austria, the production will be broadcast on 20 March 2020 at 7 pm on www.medici.tv
