CONCERT AND GUIDED TOUR IN ONE EVENING!

08. August 2023

Drei Musiker:innen mit Instrumenten im Konzerthausfoyer

The Arnold Schönberg Center, the Austrian National Library and the Mozart Hall of the Wiener Konzerthaus: the Wiener Symphoniker have once again chosen special locations for their popular chamber music series. Each concert is accompanied by an exclusive guided tour. Tickets for the six evenings are available now.

A special exhibition at the Arnold Schönberg Center is dedicated to Schönberg's 150th birthday. The HABE Quartet Vienna confronts Schönberg's music with Beethoven's String Quartet, violinist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and musicians of the Wiener Symphoniker connect Schönberg with Richard Strauss. Both concerts will be preceded by a guided tour of the special exhibition - with an exclusive presentation of autographs!

Three concerts will take place at the Austrian National Library, whose exhibition Anton Bruckner. The Pious Revolutionary focuses on the composer's influence on music history. The Glière Quartet, the Vienna Classical Players and the horn players of the Wiener Symphoniker will present different musical facets of the composer.

Another highlight of the chamber music series is the performance of Schönberg's Pierrot Lunaire, a key work of musical modernism, with violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja at the Wiener Konzerthaus.

The six concerts are also available by subscription - at 20 percent off. Get your tickets now!
