Im Klang

Horizontal Tabs

Info
It’s “by far the most significant, perfectly formed, interesting and idiosyncratic of my pieces”, said a gratified Richard Strauss in 1896 after the full rehearsal of his tone poem “Also sprach Zarathustra”. Thanks to its use in Stanley Kubrick's “2001: A Space Odyssey”, the work has become famous far beyond the world of classical music – and is a perfect gateway into it. On two dates of the innovative concert format “Im Klang”, classical fans and curious newcomers alike now how have the opportunity to plunge into the expansively orchestrated composition and experience a completely new perspective.
