Horizontal Tabs

Info
Antonín Dvorák’s Eighth Symphony had already been included in the programme of the last concerts under the direction of Philippe Jordan in the past season. This will be pursued in chronological order with Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” which, subsequent to this concert, Jordan and the Wiener Symphoniker will also perform on a great tour in Germany and Belgium. Here, it will be combined with Brahms’s Violin Concerto with this year’s artist in residence, Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, as the soloist, and Kurt Schwertsik’s composition Here and Now, written especially for the Wiener Symphoniker.
