Together with the youth music competition ‘prima la musica’, the Wiener Symphoniker award the WSY Talent prize every season and invite exceptional musical talents aged 14 to 19 to join them on stage to make music together.
In June, a jury selects the 2025 prizewinners, who work together with conductor Martin Kerschbaum and the Wiener Symphoniker to develop a solo piece with orchestra for the concert and perform it at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
