On the Easter weekend, we invite you to the traditional spring concert - and tickets are now available. Just in time to make your loved ones look forward to easter with a christmas present.
A love song, a chirping nightingale, hot kissing lips, a little gold and silver, plus a jubilant "Gloria" - spring couldn't sound more beautiful and colorful! On March 30 and 31, the Wiener Symphoniker with conductor Manfred Honeck and soprano Diana Damrau invite you to the atmospheric concert "Spring in Vienna" at the Vienna Musikverein.
The program sings of spring in all its colourful facets: composers such as Anton Bruckner, Maurice Ravel, Johannes Brahms, Franz Lehár, Giacomo Puccini and Carl Orff guarantee variety and lively rhythms. Diana Damrau, one of the most exciting voices of our time, sings arias such as "Meine Lippen, die küssen so heiß" or "O mio babbino caro" and delights with Poulenc's "Gloria". The Singverein der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde is also involved in this spring roundelay.
"Spring in Vienna" is the popular Easter tradition of the Wiener Symphoniker and is a highlight of the lively season every year. The ideal Christmas present for all those who are already looking forward to spring during the festive season - and for all those who, after the wonderful concerts with Manfred Honeck in November, can hardly wait to experience him again in Vienna.
