First post-corona concerts at the Wiener Konzerthaus
After 88 long days of standstill, the Wiener Konzerthaus will again be giving public concerts from June 5th on. We are very happy to be able to play the first concerts with pianist Igor Levit on June 5th and 6th. At the beginning of July, further concerts with Rudolf Buchbinder will follow, at which we will present Beethoven's five piano concerts. It starts for a maximum of 100 people according to the requirements of the federal government. From July up to 250 people can be in the audience. The concerts are played twice every evening, so that as many people as possible have the chance to enjoy live music again.
If you would like to attend one of the first concerts, please contact the staff of the Ticket and Service Center of the Wiener Konzerthaus personally. Only there can you buy tickets for the concerts in June and July by telephone, in writing or in person. This ensures that people who want to go to a concert together get two to a maximum of four seats next to each other and at the same time maintain the necessary distance from other visitors. An online purchase is therefore not possible at these events.
By leaving every second row and two free seats on either side of the seats bought, the prerequisites are in place to be able to do without masks during the events. They only have to be worn until the place is reached.
