After the lengthy dry spell, concert operations in Vienna's concert halls are finally slowly starting up again. We are very happy that we can finally be present at the Musikverein again with several concerts.
In order to ensure that we are all safe, we will proceed carefully. The concerts will take place without a break and last no longer than one hour. The reduction of the audience seats to 100 (June) or 250 (July) people makes the necessary safety distances possible – and thus a mask-free concert enjoyment. In order to enable as many music lovers as possible to enjoy the live concerts despite the reduced seats, each of the programs will be played twice.
On June 10, the outgoing Music Director and celebrated Beethoven interpreter Philippe Jordan will conduct the Leonore Overture and the Third Symphony "Eroica" in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein. On June 27, the overture to Giuseppe Verdi's opera "La Forza del Destino" and Peter Iljitsch Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony can be experienced under the direction of Manfred Honeck.
The concerts were sold out within a day. We are honoured by the great demand - and look forward to playing live for you again soon!
