Info

For Mozart´s private diction the Concert d minor, K. 466 forms the turning point between chatting and poetry: all conventional empty phrases disappear and make room for the “language of the heart” as it was called by the contemporary aesthetics. The first movement of the Concert K. 467 starts with a pithy main theme determined by a march rhythm. The solo-entry of the piano is prepared by dazzling, successively entering wind entries of oboe, bassoon and flute. Throughout all shifts to minor the main theme remains predominating in order to allow the movement to fade away again in the march rhythm. With one of his most enchanting melodic ideas Mozart equips the Andante while the rondo-finale with its pearling serenity and still diversified instrumentation sets a particularly fascinating end.
