Kammermusik-Fest I: The Bohemian Bach

Horizontal Tabs

Info
If the Kammermusik-Fest over the previous years had been concentrated in a few consecutive days, this year it will be celebrated again with four concerts over the entire season. There, the musical spectrum will range from Telemann, Fasch and Zelenka via the composer of the year, Beethoven, and the romantic Brahms, through to Kurt Weill, and the ensembles from string quartet through to chamber orchestra. The chamber music palette will be opened by a mixed wind and string ensemble which proves that trios in the baroque era did not necessarily have to be composed of only three players. The violinist Guillermo Büchler, the oboists Stefanie Gansch und Paul Kaiser, the bassoonist Robert Gillinger, the double-bass player Hermann Eisterer, and the harpsichordist Sonja Leipold will embark together on a journey through the rich trio sonata repertoire of Zelenka, Telemann and Fasch.
