This is what we sound like: The Wiener Symphoniker in major concerts with the great artists of our time. In this year's major Symphony subscription programme, you will meet chief conductor Petr Popelka as well as the orchestra's principal guest conductor Marie Jacquot (with music from her native France and Bruckner's 7th Symphony) and former Symphony chief Philippe Jordan (with Bruckner's 4th Symphony).

The programme offers you masterful interpretations of symphonic classics such as Mahler's 3rd Symphony, Stravinsky's Petrushka Ballet or Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, but also exciting discoveries such as the Concerto for Cello and Wind Orchestra by Friedrich Gulda or the Tribute to Eddie Van Halen & Antonio Vivaldi by Jean-Christophe Spinosi. You will also experience world-famous performers such as Rudolf Buchbinder with Mozart's piano concertos, the violinist Bomsori with Mendelssohn Bartholdy's violin concerto and Jan Lisiecki with Mendelssohn's 1st piano concerto.
