On the day before the big race, the Wiener Symphoniker and the VCM are presenting the Concert for the Marathon. What's special: Musicians among the runners will have the unique opportunity to perform together with the renowned orchestra on stage in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein Wien. Wiener Symphoniker and runners united in one orchestra!

To mark the start of the holidays, the Wiener Symphoniker invite you to two days of summer open-air concerts in the Wiener Prater.

Under the title Cinema:Sound, the Wiener Symphoniker continue their long-standing film music tradition by bringing a film music legend to Vienna each year to lead the orchestra through their unique soundscapes. On January 29, 2026, Scottish composer Patrick Doyle will take the podium to conduct the Wiener Symphoniker with his magnificent film scores.

At the Beisl-Concerts 2025, various chamber music ensembles of the Wiener Symphoniker will perform – without formal attire – in some of the most charming venues of the Karmeliterviertel in Vienna’s 2nd district.

Since 2025, the traditional Viennese orchestra has been celebrating the musical start of spring in Trieste, presenting a diverse programme at the Politeama Rossetti as part of the Primavera da Vienna festival!

You can’t get more Advent spirit, more Vienna, or more contemplation than when the Wiener Symphoniker return to the spectacular setting of St. Stephen’s Cathedral for their grand Advent concert on December 11, 2025.
