Six concerts with guided tour at the Wien Museum
Six concerts with guided tour at the Wien Museum
08. August 2024
In their anniversary season 24-25, the Wiener Symphoniker are guests at the new Wien Museum with their chamber music series. With a guided tour and concert on the theme of the evening, visitors will experience Vienna's history with all their senses. Tickets for the individual chamber music evenings are available from today.
In its next special exhibitions, the Wien Museum will be focussing on art theft, winter in Vienna, the city's religious and cultural diversity and Vienna's special position between East and West. Ensembles from the Vienna Symphony Orchestra - the Vienna Symphonic Schrammel Quintet, Symphonikerblås, Les Lilas and the Vienna Chamber Musicians - will delve deeper into these themes with a finely curated concert programme. On the last evening in May on the theme of "Classical Vienna", a guided tour of the museum's permanent exhibition is followed by a concert with the first concertmaster Dalibor Karvay, the solo cellist Michael Vogt and the solo horn player Peter Dorfmayr as a trio.
Tickets for all chamber music evenings are available on the respective concert pages now. The series is also available as a subscription or individual subscription (4 out of 6 concerts).
