Info
"Maslenitsa", conducted by Stéphane Denève, will be an Austrian premiere of a special kind: French composer Guillaume Connesson, with his always melodious and often opulently orchestrated music, is one of the most exciting of his generation. The work will be followed by charismatic pianist Jasminka Stancul demonstrating her versatility in Camille Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor op. 22, a special high point in the composer's work. Conducted by Stéphan Denève, the next item is Tchaikovsky's Fifth, one of the composer's most popular symphonies, as the "Grand Finale" in the Golden Hall.
