Info
Developed in partnership with the Wiener Konzerthaus, the concert format “Im Klang” enables audiences to enjoy an exceptionally intensive experience in the middle of the musical action. The players of the Wiener Symphoniker sit scattered throughout the parterre of the Great Hall; some of the audience are seated among and between them, finding themselves, in the meaning of the event title, “in the sound” (im Klang). The audience thus gets the chance to experience at close quarters the orchestral players at work and to enjoy monuments of the classical repertoire from a new and different perspective. Special cardboard stools have been produced especially for this unique performance situation; guests can take them home with them afterwards.
