Giedrė Šlekytė has had to withdraw from the concerts at the Musikverein for personal reasons. We would like to thank Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla for taking over the baton with a revised programme : in the second half of the programme, Berlioz’s “Symphonie fantastique” will be replaced by Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E minor, “From the New World”.
