Subscription terms and conditions

In order to ensure that all subscription holders can be informed of any changes, we ask that a subscription is ordered under the name of the person who will actually use it.

1. Subscription Renewal (“Stammplätze”)

Your seating choice for the Sonderkonzerte and Matineen cycles from last season will be reserved for you until 12 May 2017 (receipt of post). Your order should arrive before this date if you wish to renew your subscription. Since subscription renewals are given priority handling, please ensure that you check the box marked “Fortsetzung” (“Renewal”) on the order form, even if you ordering a different number of subscriptions or changing the price category.

2. Seating Preference

Information on pricing for your seating choice can be found on the seating plan. Where possible we will allocate adjacent seats. While we will do our best to accommodate your seating preference, please bear in mind that many seats are already reserved for existing subscription holders.

3. Additional orders

If you submit an additional order form, please mark the field “Ihr Sitzplatzwunsch” (“Your seating preference”) with the note “Nachbestellung” (“Additional order”). This helps us to process your order faster.

4. Order Processing

Orders are processed in the order in which they are received and subject to available seating. Should the required price category no longer be available, seats will be allocated in the next highest or next lowest price category. Subscription renewals made by existing subscription holders that arrive before 13 May 2015 will be given priority handling over new subscription orders.

5. Privacy Policy (Joint Series)

Personal information collected during ticket purchases, orders or enquiries will not be passed on to third parties. This excludes concerts in the series Wiener Symphoniker, Matineen, Festkonzerte, Fridays@7, Beethoven, Symphonien, Neu(es) Hören, Vorhören! and Kammermusik-Fest, which are presented by the Wiener Symphoniker in cooperation with the Wiener Konzerthaus Society. In these cases there will be a limited transfer of your personal information and by purchasing a ticket for a Joint Series event you agree:

a) that the personal information you provide will be passed on to the Wiener Symphoniker or the Wiener Konzerthaus Society and used for marketing purposes for events presented by the Wiener Symphoniker and the Wiener Konzerthaus Society;

b) to receive information by email from the Wiener Symphoniker and the Wiener Konzerthaus Society about their own events.

You may choose to withdraw this permission at any time. In this case, no further use will be made of the data.

6. Children- and Youth Subscriptions

Only one Children- and Youth Subscription can be purchased per person; the subscription is non-transferable. If the ticket is used by another person, the difference between the youth price and the normal price must be paid. Since Childre- and Youth Subscriptions are processed after other subscriptions and are subject to available seating, we cannot guarantee a seat next to other subscriptions ordered at the same time.

7. Wheelchair Places

For visitors with a mobility impairment, a certain number of wheelchair places are available in each subscription series at a reduced rate. The price includes a designated companion. If no companion seat is required for the subscription, the price will be reduced accordingly. Please indicate your requirements – “Rollstuhlplätze mit Begleitperson” (“Wheelchair place with accompanying seat”) or “Rollstuhlplätze ohne Begleitperson” (“Wheelchair place without accompanying seat”) – on the order form.

8. Subscription orders

are binding. It is not possible to return purchased or ordered tickets. If a concert is sold out, the Konzerthaus Box Office may accept tickets for resale on 10% commission.

9. Changes and Cancellations

We reserve the right to make changes to the date, venue, programme or performers of an event. Any changes do not entitle ticket holders to return tickets. We will inform you in writing of any changes known to us in good time. If a subscription concert is cancelled, you will usually be offered an alternative concert.

10. Methods of payment

SEPA direct debit mandate: You give permission for the Wiener Konzerthaus Society to debit your bank account with the amount payable.
