Compulsory repertoire pieces and all orchestral passages will be announced in the invitation. The Wiener Symphoniker do not pay any travel and subsistence expenses for the auditions.

The following position is vacant in the management team of the Wiener Symphoniker:

Digital Marketing

Your duties:
  • Coordinating and implementing all digital communications
  • Helping to develop the Wiener Symphoniker’s digital strategy and its operational implementation, taking all planned marketing measures and campaigns into account
  • Production and distribution of creative, multimedia content for diverse digital platforms
  • Planning and implementation of digital advertising campaigns
  • Content administration and development of the website (including intranet) and social media channels
  • Administrative coordination, organisation and communication tasks in public relations work to support the team and project stakeholders
  • Working with journalists, film crews and photographers at events and interviews
  • Development, maintenance and administration of databases
  • Helping to plan, implement and evaluate marketing and press campaigns
Our requirements:
  • Passion and enthusiasm for art and culture, especially symphonic music    
  • Advanced skills in: (cultural) marketing, social media and web, media management, communications, press and PR
  • Experience with databases
  • Practical experiences in production of multimedia content and digital advertising campaigns  
  • Very good skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Photoshop, InDesign etc.
  • Extensive user skills in digital media and applications (CMS, Drupal, various social media platforms and Google Analytics, newsletter software etc.)
  • Writing and proofreading skills
  • High levels of self organisation, initiative and personal responsibility under time pressure
  • Willingness to take the initiative, creativity, teamworking skills, flexibility and resilience  
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills Other foreign languages an advantage
Working hours / salary:
Full time, salary: EUR 2,800.00 gross, 14x per year. May be exceeded in the case of special qualifications and/or experience
