The customer’s order is a binding offer that takes effect upon provision of all data required by the Verein Wiener Symphoniker. All customer information provided during the ordering process is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties unless the information is required to deliver services. The Verein Wiener Symphoniker may either accept an offer for ticket purchases within fourteen (14) days of receiving the offer or decline it by sending an appropriate explanation to the customer, in particular in the event that prices have been increased in the meantime or if there are inadvertent errors in sales brochures, price lists, or other documents. All Verein Wiener Symphoniker liability for such price increases or errors is excluded.
2. Prices and payments
All prices are quoted as gross prices that include value-added tax. Shipping charges (postage) are calculated separately. We reserve the right to change prices and to correct printing errors.
The price of tickets is due and payable immediately after conclusion of the contract.
3. Payment methods
We accept the following methods of payment:
- credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, Diners Club
- online bank transfers
The purchaser assumes the cost and risk of shipping. This includes a handling fee of
€ 3 for shipping by regular mail.
Upon receipt, the customer must immediately inspect the tickets for accuracy and completeness and advise us of any complaints without undue delay.
If the customer is a business, it is obligated to inspect the tickets at once and to immediately notify us of any errors or else forfeit its warranty rights.
5. Advance ticket purchases
Ticket orders placed via the internet at www.wienersymphoniker.at, email, fax, or telephone are binding. You can pay for your tickets via your preferred payment method or in cash when you pick up your tickets at the box office.
Advance ticket sales for our own events of the coming season generally begin two weeks prior to the start of the season, i.e., each year beginning in mid-September, unless otherwise indicated. Special deadlines apply to the purchase of subscriptions, and these are announced for the pertinent subscription series. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge the particular house rules of the venue.
Ticket orders via online ticket sales are generally possible for up to seven (7) days prior to concert time for domestic delivery, up to ten (10) days prior for foreign delivery, and up to two (2) days prior if picked up at the box office, unless other deadlines are specified for a particular event.
Please note that subsequent cancellations are not possible. It is not possible to return or exchange tickets. There will be no refunds for tickets already purchased.
6. Public transportation
Every concert ticket that is marked 'Gilt als Fahrschein in Wien' can also be used as a ticket on public transportation in Vienna. Your concert ticket is valid for travel in the Kernzone (central area, Zone 100) of the VOR (Verkehrsbund Ost-Region) for two hours prior to and up to six hours after concert time, but not for buses on the CityNight-Line.
7. Terms of subscription purchase
We will gladly advise you concerning our subscriptions and provide you with a subscription order form that you may fill out and return to us. As soon as we receive your completed subscription order form, your subscription contract takes effect and you accept these Terms & Conditions as an integral part of the contract. Subscription orders will be processed in the order received. You likewise agree to future adjustments in subscription prices. Price adjustments like these are made solely in advance and apply to future seasons.
7.1. Subscription prices
Subscription prices apply in accordance with the current price list for the respective series.
7.2. Subscription payment
Once the payment slip has been sent, the subscription must be paid for by the deadline set forth on the payment slip. You may also pay for your subscription by charging it to your credit card. A subscription brochure with prices for the coming season is sent to every subscriber between March and May of each year. After payment has been received, subscription tickets are sent by post within the applicable time frame for the particular season or can be picked up at the box office. If you have not received your subscription tickets by mid-September at the latest, we kindly request that you notify the box office. Furthermore, we kindly request that all bank transfers be made by using the payment slips we have sent you, because we cannot otherwise guarantee proper posting of your payment.
When payment is made by transfer form and bank transfer or by charging it to your credit card, your subscription tickets will be mailed to you.
7.4. Credit card payments
We accept Diners Club, Mastercard, Eurocard and Visa. Your subscription tickets will be mailed to you.
7.5 Picking up tickets in person
Beginning three (3) weeks prior to the start of a particular season for which the subscription is valid, you can usually pick up tickets from Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. (13 h) at the Wiener Symphoniker office, Lehárgasse 11 (Stairway 2), 1060 Vienna. Precise information is announced upon publication of the season programme for which the subscription is valid.
7.6. Service charge
Unless you pick up your tickets in person and pay for them in cash, all orders are subject to a non-refundable service charge of € 3.00 per order.
Please contact Beatrice Swoboda by telephone at (+43) (0)1/58979-51 or via email at email@example.com.
8. Program, featured artists and/or date changes
We reserve the right to make such changes, and these changes do not entitle customers to return their tickets. If we are aware of changes in time, they will be announced on our website at www.wienersymphoniker.at. In the case of subscription concerts, changes that result from cancellations do not entitle customers to return their tickets.
9. Photographing and/or recording
For copyright reasons, photographing and/or recording without special permission are prohibited before, during and after performances. In the case of television or film recordings, audience members agree that recordings or images (photographs, film, and video) that are made of them during or in connection with the event may be used without compensation for conventional purposes within the framework of fair use.
10. House rules
Each valid ticket entitles one person to attend the specific performance in compliance with the applicable house rules. A valid ticket must always be shown to authorised personnel upon request. It is not permissible to take any seat other than the one indicated on the ticket. In the event that an audience member violates house rules or the above-mentioned provisions, he can be forced to leave the performance without a ticket refund.
11. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions contradicts mandatory statutory provisions (e.g., the provisions of the KSchG/Employment Protection Act), the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions nevertheless remain in full force and effect. We reserve the right to change our Terms and Conditions at any time.
